Offshore Infrastructure

Offshore Infrastructure includes the following specializations:

Tractebel specialises in the design of offshore structures, such as foundations for wind turbines, measure masts, radar platforms and substations. We have experience of gravity-based foundations, monopiles and jackets.

In addition to this we offer engineering services for other offshore structures, such as artificial islands, loading and receiving structures for LNG terminals and cool water systems, as well as landing points for pipelines and cables.

In the case of wind turbine projects, our experts factor in hydrodynamic behaviour, erosion protection, weather hazards and the environmental impact. Apart from these services, we can help with wave analyses, morphological studies, designing protection against flushing and choosing the best routes for cables and pipelines.

Drawing on our civil engineering skills, we can also offer expertise in the layout of wind farms, and electricity generation, transmission and distribution.
